Project of a terrace in Milan attached to a young and important law firm office near the Gardens of Palestro. Neutral and luminous tones have been chosen for the finishes of the new floor which has become the continuation outside the meeting room. The rectangular space has been deliberately left free to allow the interior view of evergreen shrubs, a veritable collection of spring and autumn flowering Osmanthus varieties, planted in light dove gray planters and illuminated with LED picket spotlights in the ground. The shrubs also have the function of shielding the building in front of it, creating a dense vegetable fifth. The protagonist of the wall that separates the neighboring property is a fragrant jasmine that climbs on the wires attached to the wall and a custom-designed aluminum cabinet with an external basin laying on the floor. Next to this, specimens of Phyllirea angustifolia cutted in sphere of different sizes has been planted in gray graphite vases. The only strictly white flowering spots have been set up as small edging of perennial plants and small ornamental grasses inside two planters that host beautiful climbing roses of the Iceberg variety that repeats flowering. These last pots, leaning against the wall of the building, constitute a more intimate and hidden place of the terrace, almost contemplative appreciable only by going out in the open and allowing themselves a well deserved moment of rest and relaxation from work. At the center of the sequence of evergreen shrubs, to revive and signal through the change of color of the foliage the passing of the seasons, has been selected by the nurserymen, who have joined us for the realization of the terrace, a specimen of Acer dissectum atropurpurea proportioned to the size of the vase chosen to host it . To accentuate the composition is a square-shaped basin filled with small rounded river pebbles on which the vase rests.
