Overlooking the apse of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, the terrace of 150 square meters was renovated in 2013 by VERDEarchitettura for the second time, after a first implementation completed in 2005.The two floors, one in teak and the other one in blue/gray stoneware, divide the space from the dining area to the relax area. The pergolas and trellis were all custom-designed, as well as flower boxes galvanized iron sheet and everything is strictly in dark blue . The choice of plants favoured spring and early autumn blooming, when owners spend most of their time in the outdoor space. Climbing roses “Pierre de Ronsard” and “Palais Royal , generous with scented blooms in May, cover the trellis where you can find below pillows of lavender and delphinium. Botanical jasmine (Jasminum officinalis) climbs onto the grid of the two sides of the terrace. Many herbaceous perennials for shade have been used for the parts near the exit of the home, and small evergreen shrubs, placed together with yellow/orange blossom herbaceous perennials, are present inside the flower boxes of the side railing. On this terrace, as desired by the owner, a lady passionate for gardens and refined style in the choice of furnishings and accessories, never missing a flowering even during the winter when none of the family is using the space outside.
