The space designed by VERDEarchitettura for DOVE VIAGGI magazine at Orticolario 2016 was a Mediterranean garden of 180 square meters full of colours, scents, flavors and nuances that reminds to the Italian landscapes and the culture of conviviality. Marzia Brandinelli and Silvia Refaldi of VERDEarchitettura have designed and oversaw the artistic direction of the exhibition choosing the details of the materials, plants, furniture, lighting and coordinating the companies involved for the realization of the project. At the center of the garden there were large wooden tables of mahogany and cedar made of recovered planks from the past processed with handmade resin inserts. The protagonists of the scene were the olive trees along with a selection of botanicals and aromatics presented in six small gardens including fragrant lavender, rosemary, myrtle, verbena, sage, jasmine and scented geranium collection. The lighting designed for the space was very scenographic and consists of outdoor lamps and tinted bulbs freely hanging with vintage style silk cables on the center of the table.
